I love the statement about waiting an hour for something special. My mother and I used to travel together, I had no choice, when will you stop to eat? There was always a discussion where to eat. I would see a restaurant with a line outside. I would pick that restaurant. my mother without fail would pick a restaurant where there was no cars and no people so they’d be no waiting. Then she would complain about the terrible food or the terrible service or both. I had no sympathy.
